Standing Committees

Our Standing Committees do the work of the Placer County Democratic Central Committee. They are comprised of members of our Central Committee as well as member of our community.

Central Committee Executive Board

Executive Board members serve two-year terms and are elected at Organization meetings in even-numbered years.

    Nick grew up in Roseville and graduated from Oakmont High School. He spent his summers on the Roseville Sugarbears swim team. Nick served in the United States Army as an infantry paratrooper and deployed to Iraq. Nick first volunteered with the Dr. Bob Derlet for Congress Campaign in 2016 and then for Jessica Morse’s congressional campaign in 2018. Nick graduated from Sonoma State University and received a J.D. from McGeorge School of Law. He currently works for the state, analyzing state legislation. Nick served as President of the Roseville Junction Democratic Club from 2022 to 2024. Nick represents Placer County’s 4th supervisory district.

  • Deana is a California native who first moved to Placer County in 1980. She now lives in Lincoln and represents District 2.  

  • Babara represents Placer County’s 5th supervisory district. Barbara also serves as the Chair of the Community Engagement committee.

  • Terry represents the 5th Supervisory district and is President of the Auburn Area Democratic Club. Terry also serves as Chair of the Legislation Committee.

  • Kathleen represents Placer County’s 1st Supervisory District.
    Kathleen has served as an elected Board member for the 1985-1990 term of the Oakland Unified School District.

    Having relocated to Placer County as a CalPers retiree 11 years ago, she is an appointed member of the Roseville Senior Commission as well as the Sierra College Measure B Citizen Oversight Committee. She has been a member of the American Association of University Women in Oakland as well as the Roseville South Placer branch serving in many board positions over the 40+ years of her membership. She is committed to grassroots activism to turn Placer County blue by electing Democrats to represent us.
